1.) Jardin Majorelle

The breathtaking Jardin Majorelle gardens (pexels)

So based on history, this breathtaking vibrant and exotic flora tourist spot, dates back to the early 20th century, when Jacques Majorelle, a French painter, fell in love with the beauty of Marrakech, and so over the years, Majorelle cultivated the gardens, creating an absolutely stunning botanical haven, inspired by the vibrant colors he encountered during his travels.

This historical yet blissful destination is very much recommended for lovers of art, botany enthusiast, or tourist seeking a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. I would absolutely recommend the Jardin Majorelle, it is indeed nothing short of a blissful experience of nature, art, and inspiration.

Imagine drifting gently above the world, suspended in a wicker basket, with nothing but you and the vast expanse of the sky and breathtaking landscapes below, breathtaking isn’t it? This hot air balloon experience for me was one to live for! It’s a fun yet serene and unique adventure, where you can see an unparalleled perspective of the world. From the sunrise flights over picturesque landscapes to sunset excursions above historic landmarks, the fear and joy of ascension, the science behind the adventure,

the accessibility and safety, the silence and tranquility, magical! The hot air balloon is in no doubt one of the top best outdoor activities to do in Marakech, Morocco.

Tickets can be accessed through booking.com.

3.) Moroccan Turkish bath

Third on this list is the famous Moroccan Turkish bath, popularly known as “Hammam” feels like an escapade where ancient traditions meets relaxation. This tradition is rooted in both the Moroccan and Turkish cultures, it is a ritual that has been cherished for centuries. The Hammam tradition has its roots in the bathing rituals of the Ottoman empire and was introduced to Morocco during the periods of historical cultural exchange. Therefore, overtime, the Moroccan Hammam has evolved to incorporate local customs, resulting in a delightful experience.

A typical Moroccan Hammam comprises three key rooms: the warm room(known as il-weda), the hot room (derb), and the cold room (bayt al-barrid). The progression through these phases is integral to the Hammam experience, visitors may opt for a relaxing massage experience using aromatic oils.

The Moroccan Turkish bath with its rich history and cultural significance, beckons travelers to immerse themselves in a world of indulgence, and is highly recommendable for tourist who are seeking a refreshed, revitalized, and connected spa experience.

This bustling city with its vibrance, is a haven for food enthusiasts, and so embarking on a street food tour in Marrakech is not just a culinary adventure but a journey through the rich variety of aromas, flavors, and traditions that define a typical Moroccan cuisine.
